About Us

ogzcool is for all of us which believe that our dogs are the coolest!

We are passionately dedicated to dogs. On this site you will find information regarding our entertainment act called The Dogzcool Incredible Dog Show, dog training, dog shows, obedience, agility, judging, course designing, breed showing, working trials, the Agility World Championships (AWC), pet accessories, animal behavior, dog leads, toys, accessories and, most importantly we trust that our site will play a vital role in educating people about dogs.

We started our website in 2007, and plan to become one of the best and most resourceful websites regarding dogs in the world! Press Ctrl D to add this website to your favourites. It will be well worth it!

There is the obvious play on words in DOGZCOOL - about dogs being cool and about dog school. This is the essence of what we are about. DOGZCOOL is about education regarding dogs and we offer world class dog training and advice. Soon dog training schools from around the world will be able to purchase into our DOGZCOOL training franchise. We are also a resource for the coolest dog goodies, information about agility, judging, course designing and resourcing anything dog related.

Petzcool

Petzcool loyalty members are saving money on pet food, pet health products, toys and a range of over 3000 products. This is exciting news for everyone, because Petzcool is on the forefront the best pet products in the world and will be fighting to save it's loyalty members loads of money. Agility

We have a very large focus on agility in South Africa and around the world. We are very involved in the sport, in developing and growing it, in training, in top level competition, in improving judging standards, in sourcing agility related products and in manufacturing our own cool dogzcool brand of products and dog accessories.

Dogzcool also managed the 2008 Pedigree SA Agility Championships webpage.

All our agility judging and course designing information is FCI based. In South Africa KUSA is FCI affiliated, but in SA we also compete under SAADA that is IFCS affiliated and hence there are slight differences in rules. The AWC is run by the FCI and is considered as the true agility world championships, but they only allow breed registered dogs to compete and this causes controversy with people who believe that non-breed registered dogs should also be allowed to compete at top level. However, the stand that the FCI has taken has contributed towards better breeding programs and towards the importance of educating people about sterilization of unregistered dogs.

Pet-X Cape Town

Coming soon. We are working on bringing an X-treme pet X-perience to the mother city. An entertainment packed, product jammed pet expo that will X-cite any animal enthusiast. Watch the media for more info.

School

The essence of the dogzcool business plan is that it is not meant to replace any existing dog club or training school, but rather to compliment, enhance, grow and assist the existing training facility.

Our funky system of dog training elevates the levels of positive reinforcement for both the dog and handler.

The Incredible Dog Show

The founder of dogzcool (Lloyd Bristow) also manages one of the greatest canine performance acts in the world called The Incredible Dog Show.

He uses this show as a tool to educate a nation that is in desperate need of education relating to dogs. To find out more click on entertainment.

Charity

While we are on earth we need to do our part to make it a better place. This can be done by education, innovation, restoration, rehabilitation and in many other noble ways.

Dogs are our best friends, we love them and we want to do our bit to make their lives healthier and happier.

We get involved in outside animal charities on occasion. However, we prefer to be involved directly and personally in projects. At present we do loads to promote responsible pet ownership to underprivileged communities. We do a lot to try promote and grow the sport of agility, especially amongst the youth. It is our opinion that agility is one of the best possible ways to stimulate dogs, to keep them exercised and to create special relationships between man and his dog.
